1372 W 79th Street development is a mixed-use solar powered multifamily building being renovated in the heart of Auburn Gresham. With 28 affordable residential units, and 11 commercial storefronts on the ground floor, the W 79th Street development will help usher in new development along the City's Invest South/West corridor and provide a safe environment to live and work. The project will be solar powered, energy efficient and provide fully modernized residential and commercial spaces that the neighborhood greatly needs.

The existing building has been extensively renovated including new roof, windows and mechanics, and will be further renovated with energy efficiency upgrades and rooftop solar photovoltaic systems. In Phase 1 of the project the units will be renovated including energy efficiency upgrades, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC systems, and integrated IoT devices. Phase 2 of the project will be the installation of a rooftop solar PV system, reducing the energy usage of the buildings for all tenants.
